Dr. Hicks graduated from the University Of Missouri College Of Veterinary Medicine in 1980. In 1983 she founded Hicks Animal Hospital. It has certainly been quite an experience watching the clinic grow over the years. Dr. Hicks enjoys practicing general veterinary medicine and surgery, especially with a dedicated and caring team who are always looking to improve their clinical knowledge and skills. Along with her husband John, Dr. Hicks shares her home with 2 dogs and 3 cats.

Karen joined Hicks Animal Hospital in April of 2001. Along with her general technical duties, Karen plays a key role in the care of our surgerical patients, routinely discussing patient care and progress with pet owners and reporting her findings back to the appropriate veterinarian. Karen plays a major role in helping our practice closely monitor and fine-tune treatment protocols. Karen’s special interests include spending time with her husband Terry and all their furry friends.

Beverly joined our team as a receptionist in 2012 and our customers have been singing her praises! She loves to make people and their pets feel welcome, which comes naturally with her infectious smile.

Outside of the hospital, Beverly enjoys Camping, Quilting, and spending time with family and friends.

Bobby joined Hicks Animal Hospital in July of 2007.

Terry has recently joined our team as Office Manager. She enjoys making sure our team is prepared and ready to assist clients daily. If you had a pleasant or unpleasant experience she would love to hear from you.

Rebekah Joined our staff in May as a Kennel Technician and moved into a reception position where she enjoys meeting and helping our clients. She currently has 2 precious puppies.
